Alexandria Bay

Day 1:

Sit back and enjoy the drive up to beautiful Alexandria Bay, New York. Lunch on own en route. Mid to late afternoon arrival at the Edgewood where we will have some time to sit on our balconies before enjoying our buffet dinner at the hotel. Evening on own to enjoy the resort and watch the pleasure boats & ships on the St. Lawrence River. (D)

Day 2:

Following our buffet breakfast, we will board our coach for a day in Canada Museum before having our Canadian Capital Experience. Upon arriving in Ottawa we will marvel at the Changing of the Guard on Parliament Hill with precision and timing the Guard performs before the Canadian Parliament buildings. Following the Changing of the Guard we shall have a tour of Ottawa, Canada's national capital city. The tour will not only include Ottawa but also the city of Gatineau which is across the Ottawa River in the Province of Quebec.

Our tour will end in Byward Market where we shall have lunch on our own. We then experience the Ottawa River Cruise giving us different perspectives of the Canadian capital city. We shall stop on the way back at Merrickville for boutique browsing. We shall enjoy dinner in Gananoque followed by an evening performance at The Thousand Islands Playhouse. From here we take a short trip back to our hotel with visions of the dazzling Changing of the Guard, magnificent architecture of Ottawa, the relaxing cruise and the humor at the Playhouse. (B, D)

Day 3:

Enjoy your buffet breakfast at your leisure and explore the grounds of the resort before departing the hotel for our 2 nation cruise on the St. Lawrence River. See the beauty of this area from our boat as we learn about life in the 1000 Islands. Lunch on own in downtown Alexandria Bay with time for shopping before returning to the Edgewood. Time to relax before dinner on own at the resort. (B)

Day 4: 

After breakfast, we say farewell to our friends at the Edgewood Resort and depart for South Jersey. Lunch on own en route. (B)
